6. Ground was broken for the Chapel and combination Parish Education- Office- Fellowship units on January 16, 1946 and soon afterwards the Parsonage was begun. |

7. The first worship service on the property was held in the Office/Education/Fellowship unit on June 16, 1946. the first service held in the Chapel was on February 23, 1947, the day of dedication. The architect for the Chapel and the Office/Education/Fellowship units was Lescher and Mahoney, whose offices were in the Title & Trust Building of Phoenix. Lescher and Mahoney had been the architect for Grace Lutheran Church. The general contractor was Clifford Maddox of Phoenix. |

8. Plans for a separate Education building were prepared by Edgar R. Firant, Architect, of 4130 East Wilshire Drive, ground was broken in February of 1950 and construction progressed rapidly. Hearts were thrilled as the building took shape and the Education Building (now faith's Preschool) was dedicated on July 9, 1950. Additional rooms were erected in 1952. |

9. Increasing attendance and congregational activities resulted in crowded conditions and necessitated additional space. By the fall of 1949 every possible corner was called into use. Some classes met outside on the lawn, until prevented by the colder weather. One group found refuge in the parsonage living room. the leaders of faith began to plan for additional space. |

10. Ground for the church building was broken on March 21, 1954. The corner stone was laid on September 12, 1954 and the dedication took place on March 13, 1955. The design of the church was done by Edmon L. Jacques, Architect, of 323 South 24th Street in Phoenix. The general contractor was H.R. Meadows Construction Company of Phoenix. |
