At Faith-La Fe, we follow Jesus’ call in Matthew 25 to welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, and visit the sick and imprisoned. We live out these commands through service projects and community events. By building a strong and caring community among ourselves, we are better equipped to serve and support those in need.
All are welcome to join us for fellowship immediately following both of our worship services. After the 9am service, we gather for what we affectionately call “C-Time” — a relaxed hour of coffee, conversation, and connection. During this time, we enjoy snacks kindly provided by members of our community while growing together in faith through engaging conversations and educational talks led by our pastors and guest speakers.
Following the 11am service, everyone is welcome to join us in the Parish Hall for Convivio, a joyful time of food and fellowship. This shared meal offers a chance to deepen relationships and build community, alongside opportunities to learn and reflect through presentations from our pastors and invited guests.
At Faith-La Fe, living faith means actively walking alongside our community—in every corner, beyond every door. While we nurture and support the life of our congregation, we also actively engage with the wider community in many meaningful ways. We open our doors to local groups, such as 12-step meetings, providing a safe and welcoming space for healing and connection. We also partner with advocacy groups and community organizations to address pressing social needs.
Our members regularly step out into the community to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness, distributing essential resource kits filled with easily transportable things to get them through the day: bottled water, soap, toothbrushes & toothpaste, sunblock, snacks and above all - fresh socks. We regularly join forces with organizations like Thrivent for hands-on service projects that make a tangible difference. Each year, we bring our voices and passion to the Arizona State Capitol during Lutheran Advocacy Ministry of Arizona’s annual Lutheran Day at the Legislature, standing up for justice and advocacy at the state level.
