Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been part of a faith community for years, know that you are warmly welcomed, just as you are.

At Faith-La Fe, we are one church with two essences, worshiping in both English and Spanish yet united as one family in Christ. No matter where you are on your journey of faith, you have a place here.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we are committed to embodying God’s love, grace, and inclusion for all people without exception. We believe that faith is best lived out in community, and we invite you to join us in worship, fellowship, and service.

Our worship is deeply rooted in tradition, offering a meaningful and sacred space to connect with God and with one another. We gather every Sunday at 9am for worship in English and at 11am in Spanish, and we would love for you to be part of it.

What to expect

We follow the traditional pattern of the Christian Assembly, which includes Gathering, Proclaiming the Word, Thanksgiving at the Altar, and Sending. Instrumental, choir and congregational music is featured throughout worship. Our pastors and those who assist with worship at the altar wear robes.

Classic Worship in English is held every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. This worship features hymns accompanied by our choir and pipe organ, includes a short sermon, prayers and holy communion (the Lord's Supper).

A traditional, yet expressive Worship in Spanish is observed every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Hymns, folk songs and contemporary worship music is accompanied by the choir, guitars and percussion.

We occasionally worship at 10:00 a.m. for bilingual worship. Make sure to check our calendar to know when these and other special observances are scheduled.

You are invited to come as you are. While our worship style observes a formal ritual, there is no dress code. Shorts and shirts are acceptable and there is no need to hide your tattoos or piercings.

We worship in a space that resembles a cathedral. There is stained glass, candles, an altar, a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe and a large pipe organ. Sometimes we use incense, sometimes we worship solemnly by candlelight, sometimes we worship joyfully in bright light; it all depends on the time of the year and the particular observance.

You may participate in worship as the Spirit moves you. Whether you decide to reverence the cross or the altar, kneel after receiving communion, say "amen" during the sermon, or be still and silent, do what makes you comfortable.

We sit, stand and move throughout worship. Whether you rise in body or spirit, your presence is what matters.

Bibles are provided in the pews and the day's scripture are also provided in the worship bulletin, but you are welcomed to bring your own bible.

We practice open communion, meaning regardless of church affiliation, we welcome all who believe and trust in Jesus Christ to come forward and receive. We affirm the real presence of Jesus' body and blood in the bread and cup.

Communion is observed with regular or gluten-free wafers and wine or grape juice, poured into individual small cups. While some people bring their own little cups, we also provide paper cups.

Children are a cherished part of our community and we welcome their joyful presence in worship. A special area in the sanctuary is set aside just for kids, with estra space for them to wiggle, play, and be themselves, but families are encouraged to sit together wherever they like.

The parking lot is behind the church buildings. There is a dedicated entrance driveway (near the gas station) and an exit driveway (near Culver's) off of Camelback Road. Additional street parking is along 8th Place (near Culver's).

We invite everyone to stay for fellowship following both of our Sunday worship gatherings. After the 9:00 a.m. worship, we gather in the Parish Hall for what we call “C-Time”—a time for coffee, conversation, and community. This hour often includes engaging forum discussions on theological topics, health and wellness, social advocacy, and more.

After the 11:00 a.m. worship, we come together again in the Parish Hall for "Convivio" — a time of food, fellowship, and meaningful conversation.
