We’re so glad you’re here!

Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been part of a faith community for years, know that you are warmly welcomed, just as you are.

At Faith-La Fe, we are one church with two essences, worshiping in both English and Spanish yet united as one family in Christ. No matter where you are on your journey of faith, you have a place here.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we are committed to embodying God’s love, grace, and inclusion for all people without exception. We believe that faith is best lived out in community, and we invite you to join us in worship, fellowship, and service.

Our worship is deeply rooted in tradition, offering a meaningful and sacred space to connect with God and with one another. We gather every Sunday at 9am for worship in English and at 11am in Spanish, and we would love for you to be part of it.

If you’re looking to connect, we encourage you to explore our ministries, join a small group, or simply introduce yourself after worship, we’d love to meet you!

Come and experience the beauty of our shared faith. We can’t wait to welcome you in person!

In Christ’s love,
Rev. Veronica Alvarez

Questions & Answers

Here are some answers to common questions.

We worship at 9am in English and 11am in Spanish. We occasionally worship at 10am for bilingual services. Make sure to check our calendar of events to know when those are!

Come as you are! Whether you're dressed in your Sunday best or feeling more casual in a t-shirt and shorts, you are welcome to worship with us. We invite you to join us in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.

Yes! We practice open communion, welcoming all who believe in the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ to join us at the Lord’s Table. Communion is served with regular or gluten-free wafers and wine or grape juice, offered in individual small cups. While some people bring their own cups, we also provide paper cups for those who don’t have one.

Children are a cherished part of our community at Faith-La Fe! We welcome their joyful presence in worship. A special area in the sanctuary is set aside just for kids, with space to wiggle, play, and be themselves. We provide some toys during worship, and families are also welcome to bring their own.

Both our 9am and 11am services follow a traditional liturgy and include Holy Communion every Sunday. Our 9am English-language service features classic hymns led by the Chancel Choir and accompanied by our beautiful 57-rank pipe organ. The 11am Spanish-language service offers a more contemporary musical style, with Spanish hymns and songs led by El Coro de Fe, featuring acoustic guitar, tambourine, and other instruments. For more details, please visit our [Worship & Music page].

Parking is usually easy to find in our lot, which you can enter from the west side of the property (near 7th Street) and exit on the east side (near 8th Place). If the lot is full, street parking is available along 8th Place.

We invite everyone to stay for fellowship following both of our Sunday services. After the 9am liturgy, we gather in the Parish Hall for what we lovingly call “C-Time”—a time for coffee, conversation, and community. This hour often includes engaging forum discussions on topics like why we worship the way we do, health and wellness, advocacy, and more.

After the 11am liturgy, we come together again in the Parish Hall for Convivio—a time of food, fellowship, and meaningful conversation, which may also include forum discussions or congregational meetings.

That’s wonderful! Worship is truly the work of the people, and we warmly welcome participation from both members and visitors. If you’d like to be more involved, you can sign up on the bulletin board for roles such as lector, communion assistant, or crucifer (carrying the cross). Prefer to help behind the scenes? We also need dedicated volunteers for altar guild and usher teams. Feel free to email us at info@faithalive.com to express your interest, and we’ll connect you with the leader of our Worship Ministries.
